The Yorkshire Football Forums
Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

THANK YOU for visiting THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE and we hope to see you posting here in the future.

Manchester City away in FA Cup

Post by Barnsley-James on Mon 18 Feb - 5:58:06

Only one game away from Wembley and it's gonna be a big, big ask to get past Man City - but didn't we all say that a few years back when we got to Wembley, beating Liverpool and Chelsea on route?

Oh well, should be a good day out never the less Smile

Now lets get this straight..... The dingles live in a house, all be it a rather run down house but still it's a house. (A big one at that)

It's you lot that live in caravans as you are the Pikeys/ Gypo's who actually do live in caravans.

So we'll have to set off early to get our old rusty work vans there not our caravans.

Glad to clear that up for you all lol!

But anyway back onto the game...we've been given 6,100 tickets and went on sale today to ST holders who've been to the previous 3 FA Cup games

Are you likely to get one ? Btw are those stats based on Doncaster or DMBC stats if it's the latter i.e. post code stats you may have a higher proportion ?

From the same report..........

''Although Doncaster has been identified as having the greatest level of need for future
site provision, there are a number of reasons for this. In addition to their higher
population, the authority has a good reputation, high quality sites and low rent levels'' i.e. this town is perceived as being a better place to live in. Razz

''Based on current pitch rent levels approximately 29.4% of those living in
Barnsley, Rotherham and Sheffield and 66.8% of those living in Doncaster
could afford these costs'' i.e. our travellers are richer than yours Razz

Fair enough we do have more but that's because we have a far larger population and we are more inclusive.

There you go - they don't call Doncaster the Gypsy capital of South Yorkshire for no reason...

877 Travellers out of a population (DMBC) hardly represents a gypsy capital out of a catchment area bordering on 302,400 people now does it. Are you suggesting that Donny is a '2nd.' Roumania based on that stat ? Its roughly 0.3% lol! As for BMBC well you have a population of 224,600 giving you roughly 0.1% + those that your council have not built sites for i.e. 'transients'. We look after ours and they prefer to stay here unlike yours , ours are accounted for and your's could be anywhere!! affraid
