Warm Beer
Just been to the Cheswold at the lakeside for a bite to eat and there was this old guy at the bar complaining his beer was too cold, in the end he asked if they had a microwave to warm it up a bit, silly old get or do people like warm beer, what say you Pete, been the resident expert on all things alcholic.

Re: Warm Beer
i prefer bitter to lager.
I would never warm it up like , BUT , i dont like it to be so cold that all you can taste is "the coldness" of it , if you know what i mean.

Re: Warm Beer
Real beer should be served at room temperature, the chemical that you drink it doesn't matter because you are better off not being able to taste it, that is why you make it cold, you lose flavour. Keep on drinking the rubbish my friends, just leave me to my Theakstones!

It is a poor alternative to drinking that pump rubbish at places like the Keepmoat. Give me a proper beer any day.

Re: Warm Beer
Don't like beer too cold. Prefer a decent pint of real ale that's been well kept by a good landlord.
Coldest pint I ever had was a pint of lager in Stoke in the 80's. So cold you could barely pick it up.
