Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

THANK YOU for visiting THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE and we hope to see you posting here in the future.

Bradford City 2-1 Barnet 0,,10266~8743349,00

Saturday 17 April 2010
Coca-Cola League 2
Bradford City 2 (L O'Brien 79,Flynn 90)
Barnet 1 (Adomah 28)
Kick Off: 3.00pm
at the Coral Windows Stadium

Attendance: 11,138 (159 visitors)

Michael Flynn marked his return from injury in the best fashion possible by dramatically deciding the Bantams match with Barnet.

Flynn, who has been missing for the past three weeks with damage to his ribs, came on as a second half substitute to become City's match winner deep into injury time.

Flynn's goal capped off a sparkling last period of the match for the Bantams after they had spent most of the match trailing to the Bees.

Albert Adomah's first half strike had placed Bradford on the back foot, but a late rally from the Bantams managed to secure all three points.

Sub Luke O'Brien equalised for Peter Taylor's men just before the final ten minutes to step up Flynn's dramatic late intervention.

The victory was City's second in as many matches after the encouraging win over Morecambe on Tuesday.

Peter Taylor decided to stay with the eleven that had secured the morale-boosting victory over the Shrimps.

Flynn and Matthew Clarke recovered well enough from injuries to make the bench.

City failed to build on their encouraging performance from Tuesday night and found themselves behind at the interval.

Albert Adomah, so often the scourge of the Bantams, was on hand to fire Barnet in front at half-time.

Leon Osborne blew a great chance to equalise two minutes into the second half and again went close as Bradford pushed for an equaliser.

Taylor threw on Flynn and Luke O'Brien in an attempt to rescue something from the match.

Thankfully, Bradford were rescued by their substitutes in the final quarter of an hour.

Luke O'Brien had only been on four minutes when he lashed home from a Gareth Evans cross to put City on level terms with barely ten minutes remaining..

Adam Bolder headed against the bar on Bradford pressed for a winner.

It wasn't one way traffic though, as Jon McLaughlin had to be on form to superbly tip Adomah's shot on to the woodwork at the other end.

But City's late pressure got its reward in added time as Flynn, looking suspiciously offside, converted at the second attempt to grab an all three points for the Bantams.
