Today is the 25th anniversary of the Bradford City disaster, can't believe where the years have gone it only seems like yesterday, horrible scenes that will never be forgotton.

Totally agree with Leedslad on the coverage issue. Yorkshire post did a 4 page article in their sports pages yesterday. Nothing in The Times, The Independent or the Telegraph today (they're the papers we get at work) yet Hillsborough was (rightly) over everything last year - shocking
My sympathies go to anyone involved and to Bradford City FC. I've been to Valley Parade a few times and to see the memorial and the flag they have in the corner where it started always makes you think

I wasn't alive when this happened, I never experienced the terror of that fateful day.. But my dad did.
RIP to all Lincoln and Bradford fans who died 25 years ago and lets make sure today that no such disaster EVER happens again, this also applies to the Hillsborough incident.
.. Oh, and thanks to all of you.

I was on a course where they used the unedited video for training purposes. It was horrific and I couldn't bear to watch it again.

Re: 25 Years ago
Sureley this in a more significant and poignant reminder than Hillsborough.
I remember watching it unfold live on tv and the news. Memories that will never fade.
God forbid we never see the like again. RIP .
If you think back to most old grounds, we all had old wooden stands,it could have been anywhere.

Our thoughts go out to all City fans
R.I.P
56 people died but will not be forgotten.
Know people who were there, as most of my mates at the time were City fans, and the way they were after was very sad and upsetting.
All the best City fans.

Missed this thread earlier, it was devastating to watch.........far worse than Hillsborough although that is always the one mentioned.
RIP all those Bantam fans who lost their lives, you will never be forgotten, I too saw this all unfold and felt so helpless as well as gutted.
