Just got back, gutted, but what a game.
I'm proud to say that we played a full part in a fantastic game of football, but I have to say that Dagenham deserved to win. It could have been diffrerent though if ALF had scored with a sitter of a header in the first half in what was his only real contribution to the game.
Both sides had loads of chances, but our famed defence had a mare & couldn't cope with Dagenhams speed & inventiveness (particularly Green, who gave poor Gavin Gunning a roasting all afternoon).
I have to say all in all, although i'm bitterly dissapointed, it's been a great day out, & topped off with a fine game to finish the 2009/10 domestic season.
P.S; I hope after today, that our striker Ryan Taylor, scorer of our goals today, will start to flourish & show the undoubted talent he has. Today, the boy has become a man.
