Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

Really pleased for the guy that he went out on a high, both personally and for his club.

Like I've said elsewhere, he owes Leeds United nothing and we'll remember him for all the goals.
Including one very special one. cheers

Wish him all the best, and hope he doesn't end up warming the bench at Goodison or wherever he ends up.

Would love to think we'd put a bid in for Hooper but no chance with them wanting £2mill and are chairman being a cockney

What ever anyone says about Beckford hes been fucking amazing for us, stayed with us through all the rumours even making a sky interviewer look a tit "what shirt am a wearin bruv", many many many many last miniute goals for us, given us some unforgetful days, scum and spurs and obviously the most important of the he winner to get us up

I'm not sure he will do well in the prem?....he may do.....but I think the odds are weighted in favour of him not shining that much!......David Nugent was actually a proven goalscorer in this division....Beckford isn't!....& Nugent has generally been a big disappointment!

I have to agree , he will find it extremely difficult with his attitude to step up to the Prem. Rooneyesque he deffo isn't!
