Re: Stock Fit And Ready
Looks like Brooker may be fit as well....
Striker Steve Brooker should be back in the first team squad for Saturday's away game at Watford. Brooker has featured on the subsitutes' bench on a number of occasions this season, but was not included in the squad for the last game, at home to Hull City, a couple of weekends ago. However, at the time Sean O'Driscoll insisted that it was a precautionary measure, and was part of his gradual recovery programme.
O'Driscoll explained: "He needs some orthotics. Because he has had the problem with his ankle, which has now been fixed, his body has been thrown back to where it should have been. He's been playing with his ankle for so long it has affected his biomechanics. We didn't want to push him and have a bigger problem than we have got. With the two-week break, we didn't want to risk him. He should be okay come Watford."

BBB Big Bad Brooker is going to get them, wish I could go. A match fit Brooker is something I'm really looking forward to.

Seems a strange thing to do, if you were thinking of ''cashing in'' wouldn't you seek to extend his cotract in readiness ? Sounds like another daft VSC forum 'wind-up' to me.

Maybe its to do with Stockys back problem...he won't be cheap and really need to make sure he is 100% ok , last thing we need is another Brooker, really can't afford the luxery, having said all that i really hope he gets his back problem sorted out once and for all..
