Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

a lot of talk around yesterday about old rivalries and settling scores.
Maybe not all going to the game but a lot of the Teesside nutters and hardmen planning a day in town on the beer and sorting leeds out. Looks like being a hairy day around Boro.
If you need a drink avoid Boro centre, better off stopping outside for the afternoon and make the dash to the ground at 4 ish.Police are going to be very heavy handed around town.Leeds fans on trains will probably be escorted straight to the ground.

Even if yer mate did know them that's bullshit, how can they ban just for being mates with some people. Was like against skum last year 9 lads got banned for drinking in a pub because the police THOUGHT they might cause trouble, i don't know if they do have a 'history' but they still can't be banned for it, it's like if you've been done for speeding and o.b. giving you another 3 points cos they assume that you'll do it again. It's all aload of sh!te this.

Think our train gets into Boro pretty early but we're off with a couple of West Yorks based Boro fans, might be worth just get a later train and just having drinks in town before getting into Boro about 4-30-ish

Leedslad, like everywhere, if you have no colours then the police might not bother you unless in a big gang.Trains after the game will be a bit iffy as there are only 2 or 3 transpens. 8 and 9 oclock.

Just avoid the pubs around the station. Nops club will be open all day and you are ok to get in.

Normal prices in ground are £2.80 and £3 pint, might not be selling in leeds end after last time when they wrecked the bar. Food and drink is expensive.
If you get the train in then slip out of the station by the right hand exit, turn right cross main road following way to ground, new pub on the left, Lord Byron will let you in if not in a big gang.

LeedsLad, what time you heading over this way.
Some of the pubs in town have been closed by police and others have bouncers and police on doors so take care.
Frontline Reunion day by all accounts.

Police are supposed to be taking leeds fans straight off trains and walking to ground.
If you are with some Boro mates then just make sure you dont have any Leeds stuff showing and you should get off station ok without being herded up.
