I wonder if it would be better emailing some of the people who have already signed up and used to participate , like the Wednesday, Terrier , Shem et al ....go down that route and maybe try and find out why they stopped posting...just a thought...

all users who have not visited the site in the last 32 days gets a e~mail at the start of every month i do believe

Never knew that...is that just some automated email though, maybe a more personal one might get a few of them back..each Mod can pick 3 or 4 and see how it goes, will have a look tommorow and give it a go...anythings worth a try i suppose..but i agree we do need some new blood...

just having a quick look and there are 165 members who have signed up but not made a single post, another 31 who have made just one post...you have to go quite a way before you get to people who are in double digits..

Most - Pompey had some bizarre conditions that you had to have had 5 posts on their boards before you posted anywhere else or something like that lol!
