Injury update...
The cancellation of Saturday's home game against Barnsley may well be fortunate for Rovers, with defender Mustapha Dumbuya unlikely to have been fit for the local derby. With Jmes Chambers out and Joseph Mills doubtful, Rovers would have been short on full backs if Dumbuya had missed out - but they now have a further week to get players fit.
O'Driscoll said of Dumbuya's knee injury: "He felt it after the game but we won't know how he is until Thursday or Friday. If he is ruled out obviously it creates a problem with James Chambers and Joe Mills currently out of action."
Before the weather prevented most of Rovers' training sessions this week, O'Driscoll had been planning to name both Billy Sharp and David Healy in the side, although he said: "Ideally you would want to do some work on the training pitch before you considered that but we haven't been able to do that. It's an option because they are both bright lads but we'll just have to wait and see."
Healy's loan at Rovers expires after this weekend, so it is uncertain whether his stay in Doncaster will be extended.
The Rovers boss is keen for him to stay, adding: "David is a smart player who has fitted in well here but I need to chat to him first, and then Steve Bruce, before we can announce anything."
