Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

Yeah but ive seen a lot more of this team then most, and i know the team we did have at the end of last season would struggle this year and its been weakened over the summer with some 2nd rate signing,

Where in the shite pal come october we'll be bottom of the league and thats where we'll stay

LOL you can always count on Nighty to be optimistic!!!
Bobby Hassle has been a reyt servent to Barnsley and he can Still cut it at this level!! And as for the shite we've brought in, well they can't be no worse than the so called championship and premier league players we had last season!! Only Trippier did owt rest were shit!

And i'll also bet thi we're not bottom in October!

Hassle should at least be club captain.. clubs need to praise loyalty and players like Hassle. Maybe he won't play as much then the captain will obviously be someone else but hassle will have respect from all the Barnsley players that were there last season. And if the new ones don't respect him then i'll be cracking some heads!!
