Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

Anyone looking for work in Steel related industries check out the Siemens website to see what is available.
Jobs in Sheffield, Leeds, plus the wind turbine jobs coming to Hull.
Jobs for engineers at Stockton if you dont mind the travel.
Plenty of opportunities to travel the world to sites, Brazil,Argentina, India,Taiwan and USA projects ongoing at the moment.

Is this the sector you work in Thornabyred looked at the siemens website looks like i am not qualified enough for these jobs

I used to work for Siemens as a service engineer, always found them a good firm to work for and if they thought you could make the grade they would train you.
Only left when we moved back up north and I couldn't get a transfer to a different area, and that was purely because they lost a contract, if they had kept it they would have transferred me

Oh and you used to get a good discount on the products I bought a 650 quid top of the range washing machine for 350 quid about 12 years ago its still going strong

Quite a bit of good news on job front on Teesside with the new regional sites hoping to attract around 3, 00 jobs around the area.

There are Jobs out there if you know where to look, the large Tesco distribution centre in Goole recently took on 300 extra people, the knack is actuallly going and knocking on doors and showing your face and keep going back again and again, make yourself known to companies and eventually you will strike gold...
