The Yorkshire Football Forums
Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

THANK YOU for visiting THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE and we hope to see you posting here in the future.

Worrying Times At Oakwell Empty Worrying Times At Oakwell

I Really hope i'm wrong, but its worrying, we're not going to score enough goals to stay clear of danger, even though we're playing some good football, and look better then our oppo in the last few games, we just don't seem to have the killer punch.
At this level if you don't finish your chances you'll be punished, there are a lot of good teams in this league so if you don't beat the teams your better then you'll struggle to pick up the points you need to stay up. they'll be some games we get nowhere near winning so we need to be winning the games we are on top in and we're not at the moment and it needs to change fast.

Another worry, how are we going to keep hold of Butterfield in January ?

On the Butterfield question who knows lets not panic until that situation comes.

I agree we need to start scoring and getting a few wins but i really do think it will all come good at Oakwell. Its only September and people are starting to worry and i can see their point of view but it is only september!!! Keep your chin up an see what happens over the next 2 months!!

I mean it could be worse......... we could be Donny fans!!! lol!
