Hayter
Rovers striker James Hayter has been linked with a return to AFC Bournemouth, according to the Bournemouth Echo. The Cherries are set to move into the transfer market on a number of occasions in January, and have already confirmed that they will sign Brighton defender Steve Cook after a successful loan period, and have been reported to have had a bid of £150,000 for winger Scott Malone accepted by Wolves.
Moves reckoned to be possibilities include Hayter's return to the club, along with targets Matt Richie (Swindon) and James Constable (Oxford).
We don't think that this has any more credibility than most newspaper speculation, but a move back down south may appeal to Hayter if he turns out to be sidelined by the short-term contract players likely to be brought in by Rovers in January.
