The Yorkshire Football Forums
Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

If the board is successful, most of the other yorkshire teams will be put up as well, those from league 1 etc. At least that's what I've gathered.

I had an idea that we group the clubs into sections depending on which league there in, then at the end of the season the teams can change sections, quite interesting if someone goes up or down!

Yes all in good time, I'm having a couple of weeks promoting the championship Forum to the Yorkshire clubs Via other clubs websites and word of mouth and so on then once ive done all i can , i will set up a Yorkshire League One forum and concentrate all my efforts in to trying to get that up and running Wile the mods take care of the championship for the following few weeks . Then finally set up a league two and Hull City Forum hopefully this will be compleated mid October .

Problem getting people off the FMTTM site is a lot of them are not from Yorkshire!

Loads from Stockton and South Durham and their affiliation is with Durham ( as well as Boro of course).

Also, a lot on there live outside the area eg London /South East. Others will not have been born when boundary changes were made and have no allegiance to any county.

It's a strange mix lol!

No your right, think theres about 17 who have not posted once, just hope they come on board it will be a shame if we stagnate, spoke to a guy at work today who said he had looked at the forum but won't sign up until it gets busier, told him with that view it would never grow. what can you do.. Sad

Similar story in our area , one of the biggest supporters clubs for the Rovers is in North Notts. ...............can't see it being a problem though ;the team is in Yorkshire like the Boro' they will get over it .
