Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

No nightmare or any of the other Barnsleee lads either, Boro' disappeared as did the Deedars, Rovrum and Bantams.
Such a shame this forum should have been the place to discuss problems and solutions for all the Yorkshire clubs and still could be. Sad

Do you know what I'm at a total loss, this place was designed for those that wanted a break from the insularity of their own club specific boards.......we are a dying but stubborn breed Daggers.
I don't see the problem with posting on different boards , however some must think of it as being unfaithful I guess.

However it's up to us to rein it in , bin'em off if necessary. It's the same old thing the idiots come on rule the roost because other folk (the decent posters) back off. It then appears that the board has become akin to a lunatic asylum for the casual peruser who may have been tempted to enjoy the forum for what it was originally designed for. A friendly talking shop where fans from different clubs could openly air their views, have a bit of reasonable banter, see another perspectives or just generally use it to chatter.
I come on here to 'escape' the insularity and boorish behaviour of the experts and cliques that abound on club specific boards.
It's a damn shame.
