Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

THANK YOU for visiting THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE and we hope to see you posting here in the future.

Bet it looks great and should be fun but as you rightly said there are always folk who will slag it off........you just can't win. It's always 3 steps forward and 2 steps backward ! I'm afraid that has and always been the Northern psyche. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

I went down to see Halifax lights on a couple of weeks ago. There was a big thing made about how the council had bought new lights for this year and how wonderful they were. It's awful to be polite. All they have managed to do is by lots of blue lights. How are they even Christmassy!!!!! The mist exciting thing is a sigh that says Merry Christmas, the rest is literally lots and lots of blue lights!!!! I was very unimpressed after all the hype that was made. Evil or Very Mad

yes it looks absolutely superb.

the fountains set it off as does the christmas tree.

That centre square is one of the largest public squares in Europe and hosts some great events like Middlesbrough music live.

The other year they had the proms from there. santa

great photo that Thornaby. i still can't get the hang of posting photo's on here. (just dumb) lol!

I'd love to go on the Boro wheel , but i'm that scared of heights i honestly think i'd give myself a heart attack.
i even have to make sure i get tickets near the front when i go to matches.
i wouldn't even contemplate goin to the away game at newcastle.
