You can't be held to ransom though Jack, what Sheffield Utd need to realise is that it is Rovers that have increased Billys Value the only thing they have ever done for him is leave him to Rot on the Bench if he was lucky.

Damn good point , however do you think his 'past' at Bumhole will reduce his market value on the open market ? There are few friends with any honour in this game and I fear the Blades will take the piss in the full knowledge that there will be somebody out there prepared to place BS in their team as a 3rd. striker.......at a higher price than we could/'should pay. We'll see eh ? Sad

Another 'bench-warmer' at a near bankrupt, fallen giant will more than likely be his future ; unless he ditches his agent!!

I'm just wondering, as good as BS is, why there is yet another topic about him, based on a paper which wouldn't be good enough to wrap chips in, if indeed you were allowed to wrap chips in newspaper now (health and safety etc lol!

I personally think (unless some club comes in with an amazing offer) BS will stick it out with us till May and then it will be a free for all. Unless we've already factored this into the equation?

I'd love him to sign for us but I also see why he wouldn't. If there's a remote chance of him playing for the Blades on a regular basis he'll want to go back there - and as much as I hate to say it I understand that. But I don't think he's stupid either. Once bitten twice shy!

I'll just enjoy every game he plays (scores) in until then. We can't change anything anyway!
