Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Stolen from elsewhere:

Goal of the decade: Hignett vs. Ipswich in the playoff final at Wembley

Match of the decade: Leeds at Oakwell, a 3-2 win having led 1-0 in the first half but trailing 2-1 at half time. Meant a lot to me, this one Cool

Player of the decade: Craig Hignett

Lowest Point: 0-2 at home to Norwich, our relegation to League 1.

Moment of the decade: Colgan saving that last pelanty to get us promoted back into the Championship

Goal of the decade: Quality - Chris Brunt against Coventry. Importance: Glenn Whelan against Hartlepool at Cardiff.

Match of the decade: Hartlepool at Cardiff, amazing day.

Player of the decade: John-Paul McGovern for his from during the 04-05 promotion season.

Lowest Point: Quite a few to choose from. Premiership relegation, Championship relegation, finishing 16th in League 1, right now. I can't decide.

Moment of the decade: Drew Talbot's goal in the last few seconds at Cardiff.

Steve MacLean's pelanty a Cardiff was also pretty nice.

Goal of the decade: Quality - Chris Brunt against Leeds. Importance: Brunt's free kick against Brentford in the Play-offs

Match of the decade: It has to be Hartlepool, but the 4-1 win against Burnley last season was pretty immense. Also our 7-2 win against Burnley when we was already relegated, and i think we beat Stockport 5-0 too.

Player of the decade: Steve McLean's 20 goals was pretty good back in League One
Lowest Point: 3-0 down against United at Half time, or the relegations.

Moment of the decade: So many to choose from..... The Derby Double will stick in my memory for ages.... however so will the Cup run back in 2002....

Goal of the decade: Quality - Glenn Whelan's screamer at Leicester. Importance: Macca's penalty in the playoff final at Cardiff to take us to extra time, can't imagine I've been that nervous watching Wednesday since.

Match of the decade: Playoff final against Hartlepool, no question.

Player of the decade: Chris Brunt. A golden left foot, and so many outstanding strikes.

Lowest Point: Going down to the third tier was tough, we were desperately poor. The following season wasn't much better either.

Moment of the decade: It's hard to top Drew Talbot taking it round the keeper at Cardiff, I have to agree. Clearly doing the double over our neighbours was a highlight too. A day I personally remember fondly (and have commemorated in my avatar Cool ) is Lee Bullen playing 45 mins in goals at Millwall and keeping a clean sheet. Legendary.
