Chesterfield v Rotherham United Monday 1pm
Massive game this one! Along with Rochdale away on the 2nd Jan, if we manage to get 4 points from these away games, i'll start to believe that we're a good bet for Automatic promotion. If we play & compete as well as we did in our last game at Valley Parade (4-2 win) we should be OK!

I went there a few weeks ago and it cost me £18 , i think the most expensive ticket is £20, i need to get there one more time before they move in the Summer.

I'm going for Rovrum just! Although Rovrum are the 'form' team of the two, this is still a derby game of sorts and will be a tight game IMO.
Enjoy the game Brad and you nightmare if you have to take the game in.

Re: Chesterfield v Rotherham United Monday 1pm
Chesterfield FC are a disgrace. We had got to Chesterfield train station at 11 am only to be turned straight back round by the Derbyshire Constabulary & told the game was off.
There was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, either in the press, on the radio, on your websites, on SSN, or anywhere else for that matter, including telephoning Chesterfield FC(A recorded message about CFC's game v Port Vale on the 19th being postponed)about a pitch inspection, which would have delayed our fans departure.
No office staff on on a fricking matchday???
What sort of amateurish set up are they running at Saltergate? God help em if they cant get professionals in at the new stadium.
CHESTERFIELD FC's FAULT ENTIRELY

Its the same as what happened with us, they only put it on the official site that there was to be a pitch inspection at 10.30 on or around 15 minuites after that time, what pisses me of is that these clubs must have known last night that there was some doubt that the games would go ahead, its not as though last night was the first night of the cold snap that we have expireienced, they just don't seem to give a damn about the fans or the expense that there decisions cost ordinary folk many of whom can ill afford it..

Well it seems the reason that the Chesterfield / Rotherham game was postponed was all down to the Ref, at least they have let the fans know why it was called off.
