Internet Service Providers
I have been with AOL for as long as i care to remember, but as my contract is up i am considering changing my provider, i have had no problems with AOL but am wondering which providers you guys use, Sky is not really an option as i am tied into a telephone line contract with BT for a few months so it is just the Broadband i am after, and also has anyone switched theres in the past and how easy is it to swap what i'm really asking was it seamless in that you did not have a week or so without any internet.

been with virgin since it was the old comcast, not too many problems over the past 10 years or so.
Re: Internet Service Providers
We use BT and haven't really had any problems at all with it. Occasionally we had slow connection for a little while but that was only while they were upgrading it.

Check Uswitch - I found Plusnet and a really decent price. It's always worth a look for pricing. Plusnet is ok, not the cheapest option but free eve/weekend phone. Not good if you ring many mobile numbers though!!!

I have been with plusnet since I had a computer, they do a decent price and provide reasonable service, even when things go wrong, which is rare.

I'm actually surprised they have the internet in these east yorkshire Villages let alone Broadband, i bet it got the villagers talking for weeks in the Dog and Duck after all those years playing 5 s and 3 s. and ferret racing.

Even York can only get broadband via phone lines. The fibre optic option is still way too advanced for us northern folk!!

The Boot and Slipper thank you! The teams of doms players don't know about such things yet, but the quiz team, led by a wonderful captain this year is all geared up and able to beat the pants off any dullards from Thorne I assure you! :afro:

Is that a threat or a promise? Bring it on, we will arrange a match for you at the end of the season (May) or when we have no match if you want to try!

Actually it might be a laugh, how long would it take your group to get to the punchbowl on horse and trap, and would they be able to cope with going into the big city.

About time you lot came into the wilds, and I could promise food and good beer at the Boot. I am sure Vix would drive!

Four, but they all need to have brain cells! Individual questions with fifteen seconds to answer for two points, passing over to your team if you can't answer for fifteen seconds for one point, then over to the other team for one point for fifteen seconds. Eight rounds of eight questions. A break at half time or whenever the team needs a beer.
