West Brom To Bid £3 Million For Jamie Ward

Roberto Di Matteo is planning a £3million swoop for Sheffield United star Jamie Ward when the transfer window opens next month.
West Brom boss Di Matteo believes Northern Ireland international Ward can boost West Brom’s bid for automatic promotion to the Premier League.
The Baggies are bidding for a first-time return to the top flight after relegation last May, and Di Matteo has been monitoring Ward’s form since his recent return from a hamstring injury.
The Albion boss fears losing prize asset Graham Dorrans in the New Year, with a host of Premier League big-guns poised to bid for the Scottish international.
Dorrans, 22, cost just £150,000 from Livingston in July last year, but is now rated in the £5million bracket.
The Glasgow-born ace has starred in midfield and up front for the Midlanders, while Ward has done the same for the Blades.
Di Matteo rates Ward, 23, so highly that he intends to move for him whether or not Dorrans stays. But the Blades will resist any attempt to prise away Birmingham-born Ward, who joined from Chesterfield for £330,000 11 months ago.

It wasn't that long ago he was with Chesterfield... Now WBA are after him...
Yeah imo that kind of money is a bit much for Ward, what has he done to deserve to cost that much?
