Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

I'm all for multiculturalism aslong as it doesn't dilute our heritage. Now it as just gone to far when it's offensive to carry an English flag, and when extremists abuse our soldiers both alive and dead, they want arresting and hanging for treason.
It's ok for them to accept our benefits and live off our state therefore they should tow the line and live as British citizens instead of ramming islam down peoples throats and trying to destroy our western/christian heritage and way of life in the name of "allah".
There is a massive upsurge and growth in groups like the EDL at the moment and they will get more support and grow at a rapid rate until our goverment does something about the shambles they have created with immigration and belittling of our British culture because of their fear of Islam.

I quite agree with you Skellow. I have nothing against people coming here for a better way of life as long as they follow our rules and earn their money. I cannot stand people who come over and say we have to live by their rules. If they don't like the way we live over here there are plenty of places that live by the rules they want so why don't they try one of them. Britain has always been a Christian country, granted not to the same extent now as previously, but that doesn't mean it should be turned towards another religion.
