The one your thinking about was Eldorado, about a load of ex pats in spain, Sons and Daughters was an australian soap think it was around in the late 80's maybe early 90's, used to be on itv on a lunch time, crap acting but very popular..the last episode had virtually the whole cast been killed, if my memory is right i think one got ate by a aligator.. lol!
