This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

it was always going to be this years wembley .
i'll enjoy Bristol City & Ipswich Town more with just around 100 there at least you know there at the game to support the team and not just for a piss up and to see a big ground

Take the oxygen - you have to climb about 14 flights of stairs before you even get to the stand. Great view though! There is a lift somewhere but we only found that afterwards lol!

Yes Pete had already struggled up the stairs when we spotted the lift.. lol! lol! lol!

To be honest pete, i think the fear of the stairs was the real reason hoola stayed away..plus when your on 60 a day he would have never managed it.. lol! lol! lol!

I'm not able to go.... Because the Geordies won't let us have more tickets!! Evil or Very Mad

I've not had the chance lately to go down to Oakwell to get the Newcastle tickets and when I finally do: "Newcastle are not issueing us with anymore tickets".

We let them have the full away stand at Oakwell, Which is 6000, They've only let us have about 3000 and I think we can all agree their stadium is larger..... REALLY annoyed at that. Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Yeah im sure there are a few dissapointed as this was always going to be the best away ground this season.
i went and it was fantastic,loved it despite losing to a last miniute goal.

couple of decent pubs near the station allthough the locals get a bit restless if you are wearing colours.
Try the paddys club, my nephew goes in there most weekends.Near the ground as well.

Knew what it was going to be like because we drew them away in the cup a couple of years ago. Was telling all lads what stairs and view was like before game.

We really could have got something out of the game....but a dive, sending off and a goal later....we stood no chance. Well played reds for the first 44 minutes....stopped them playing and had a good few chances
