Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

THANK YOU for visiting THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE and we hope to see you posting here in the future.

Well dissapointed is an understaement.
We gave 2 points away.
Why is it that Boro can play teams off the field for 70 mins and when they go a goal up think that the other team will say thats it lads we are beat you can have the points.
I watched this for 3 yrs under Gareth we press well and maybe score a goal here and there but then we shoot ourselves in the foot by sitting deep and allowing the other team to come back at us..

Bad tactics for the last 20mins and unfit players cost us dear today and blew anychance of the playoffs out of the water.

Newcastle a good team get away with yer they were bloody rubbish and we allowed them to score to soft silly goals.
If they think that they will survive the P/L with that structure of a team then they have a big suprise waiting for them.
Not to worry we'll greet them the following season at The Riverside when they drop again.

By the way my opinion of geordies being thick puffs was strengthened yesterday when I saw them bellies being shown on the tv for the gay followers, did'nt they look cute. Twisted Evil

You have no hopes for promotion next year as well then? Depressed or just pessimistic? I would rate your chances fairly high for next season, and you shouldn't have given up for this one yet I would have thought.

Truth is E/Y/Rover I ain't really given up deep down, but I am sick of being disappointed after my hopes are built up.
So I am prefering to take a step back for a week or two and see if we can make up a few points on the playoff positions.

Games like yesterday we need to kill off and not keep allowing teams to come back at us the way we allowed the fatboys of the north.

Derby Tuesday could be a telling game and Reading to follow on Saturday.
Lets hope Reading don't play like they did in the cup last week. Very Happy

Enjoyed the game, allthough did have a good drink and got carried away with the atmosphere of hating jawdees etc.
Reading game will be drink free.
