Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Doubt it, she will know more than you do for certain! There was talk of burning you before the quiz even takes place Bri once I told them about the many slurs you have committed. The landlords are expecting to sell a lot of Theakstones when I told them about Pete as well!

Format: 8 rounds of 8 questions. A or B questions. Each team member is given a question which they get 20 seconds to answer, you get a warning after 15. If it is answered correctly you get 2 points, if wrong your team can confer and come up with an answer for 1 point in the same time. If it is answered incorrectly or not answered it goes across to the opposing team for 1 point. At the end of each round the marks are given to the teams.

No conferring can take place when it is an indivdual question, and nothing can be written by either team until the individual has answered. It is better to check by writing answers down to confer otherwise you might give something away! At half time, 4 rounds there is a beer break( although it isn't unknown for the Boot to insist on one after two rounds) You win by having the highest total at the end.

Being mullered or not, the idea is to have a good night out, nobody on our team is deadly serious, we always do this for a laugh. You will enjoy yourself Pete, the Pi*****s will spend half the time taking the proverbial out of the question master,( I will give you one guess who that is!) lol!
