Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Hull are definately down, no possible way they can come back but Sheff Wed?

There's still a chance they could stay up if Crystal Palace lose their match against West Brom then lose again to Wednesday themselves, unlikely but possible.

Would like them to stay up to be honest, they bring a decent following and its another derby game, if Leeds and Huddersfield manage to get up and with Hull coming down next season is looking to be a great season.. cheers

Very true but palace brought the points deduction onto themselves and they deserved it.not the fans of course but those behind the scenes ran the club the wrong way.

And that gives a club a distinct advantage under FA rules, an advantage that a points deduction evens out supposedly. Unfortunately the rule and the punishment doesn't seem to be consistently applied however!

I don't think i am then the fans and players are left with a 10 point deduction because there incompitant when it comes to checking up on people

Can see where you're comin from , but surely it aint ALL down to the authorities.
It's up to the clubs themselves to cut their cloth .
Burnley have gone down - but at least they didnt go for broke to try n stay up.
They'd have more than likely have gone down anyway , and they'd have spent EVERYTHING tryin to stay up.
