The Yorkshire Football Forums
Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

THANK YOU for visiting THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE and we hope to see you posting here in the future.

city should take note of the prices shrewsbury are charging for away supporters, for me and my son it will cost £19.00 but when they come to bradford it will cost them nearly double. If clubs charge what there supporters are charged when travelling away then us bantam supporters would soon have a lot to moan about because we must be among dearest in the league,i know are facilities are better than most but it is still league two standard football.I know we have good home support because of the cheap season ticket deals but to encourage more home and away support on match days maybe we should look at our prices and maybe do better deals for families like shrewsbury.WELL DONE SHREWSBURY,it would have been easy to charge more for the first game knowing we will fill our allocation.

Although our tickets our relatively expensive, I dont think it'd be in our interest to charge less. Take teams like Macc, Accy, Barnet etc, none of these teams will bring many more than 100, so why not charge the guaranteed 100 travelling fans £20, instead of £15. Might seem harsh, but the club is a business and when the travelling figures in League Two are so feeble, we need to make as much from them as we can.

I do applaud what Shrewsbury have done for the opening game though, and if City could afford to do that, I would of course be absolutely behind it.
