This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Holland: Stekelenburg, van der Wiel, Heitinga, Mathijsen, van Bronckhorst, van Bommel, De Jong, Robben, Sneijder, Kuyt, van Persie.

Spain: Casillas, Pique, Puyol, Ramos, Capdevila, Alonso, Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta, Pedro, Villa.

So whos gonna win this one then , i will go for Holland, i've got them in the sweep at work.. Smile

Hardly a classic so far is it, Howard Webb is going to have to keep a tight grip on them. I'm surprised that he hasn't pulled both captains to one side yet and laid down the law! Sad

Disagree there have been some great games in there, unusual results and some great goals and penalty shoot-outs.
What more did you want ? some of the games have been shite especially in the first 60/70 minutes I admit but the likes of Ghana, Paraguay and Uruguay have upset the normal 'world order' of things.
However the final has been very poor.....................COME ON SPAIN OLE

What were the Dutch thinking about, they wrecked that final with their over zealous tackling and deliberate cheating.
The right team won but the supporters of the 'beautiful game' found out how poor a game can be.
WELL DONE to the Spaniards for trying to keep the game going as a spectacle.......they were deserved winners of the whole competition without doubt.
Harold Webb did the best he could given the appalling tactics of the Dutch.
