This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

After last nights superb performance by the lads really looking forward to this one on saturday, Billy will want to bang a few in against his old adversary , and it will be good to see Heffernan back at the keepmoat , lets hope we get a decent turnout to cheer the lads on.. cheers

Tudgay and Mellor started up top for them, Tudgay looked busy but Mellor didnt show much. If Heffs came on then i didn't notice him and thus didn't contribute much, not sure if he came on or not.

You could tell Irvine told them to keep the ball at the start of the second half as like i said they were left chasing shadows in the first half. They had about 10-15 minutes of good posession but did nothing with it, didnt even muster one effort on goal til the 80th minute. Some of their cross field balls and last ditch defensive tackles were class and their keeper (o'donnelly???) looked good. Good manager and a good squad on paper, didn't show much last night but it was only a friendly so i don't think their fans will be too worried.

Thats a bit harsh, especially with it only being a friendly. A handfull of passes went a stray and went out for a throw in, which is always amusing. But like a i said, a fwe of their cross field balls were class.

Didn't show much and played like a side low on confidence going forward (looked half decent defensivley). They were quite poor but i think they just need time to settle down and gel in the new players.

Started properly supporting the reds in the league 1 days. When Wednesday just came down to our league. From the first time i saw Barnsley/Wednesday i hated them with a passion. Closet Wednesday fan? If you met me you would think otherwise fella, haha.

Well Hoola, even though they were poor overall, they showed SOME glimpses that they could really get it together. It really is 50/50 how they do next season but like we've both said, on paper they have a top 6 league 1 side.
