Don't count your chickens
JAY Simpson is "ready and raring to go" for Hull City and could make his debut against Watford, according to his agent.
Simpson is expected to finalise his move from Arsenal to the Tigers within the next 24 hours, signing what is believed to be a three-year contract for what could eventually be a £1m fee.
Leon Callender, owner of Straight Ace Sports Management, the company which looks after Simpson, was in discussions with Arsenal yesterday and believed the move was on the verge of completion.
And the striker's representative says his client will be happy to lead the line against the Hornets at the KC Stadium on Saturday, if the deal does go through.
He told the Mail: "Jay is fit, ready and raring to go. He's played okay in pre-season, scored a few goals and he's been training well every day.
"He's looking forward to playing for Hull and he's up for it as soon as the contract is finalised."
We need someone who knows where the back of the net is.

I wouldnt have minded us getting Steve Morrison from Millwall, from highlights i saw looked very good against us last week and was very impressive for them in league 1 last season.
