Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Wonder who they want, will either be someone out of work, someone like dave Penney maybe or a lower league manager, maybe Sheridan from Chessie..

Btw how far have the Saints fallen too, when I was young they were always a top tier club ...........a bit like the Weeds really. lol! lol! lol!

I honestly don't think Southampton are in a good way, just sacked Pardew who developed a pormotion bound team and by far the most expensive squad in the league, owner passed away cairman off his head on the same levels as Ken. He's banned photographers from the ground (like ken). I'd be bricking it if i was a Southampton fan, really could be in the shit if they don't go up, so nice not to be us involved in stuff like this.

Then the end of my previous post does apply, in that they are a Leeds happening but probably as you inferred with a lot wiorse to come.
They could become the new Rochdale, it's amazing how the tables are finally turning against most of the 'biggest' historical clubs i.e Pompey, Wendies etc...

'Good' manager I grant you but will he be able to meet the expectations of such a big club and it's fans given the resources at hos disposal ...........I very much doubt it at least this season anyway.

Not wrong there. If he went to manage Scunthorpe it would certainly add excitement to the Humber Derby and the stick he would take is unreal.
