The Yorkshire Football Forums
Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

THANK YOU for visiting THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE and we hope to see you posting here in the future.

next week for work.SAP Training session for a day and half.
Day travel to get there then out in Linz Monday Night. Work on Tuesday then find a bar to catch Sky game.Wed morning work and travel home after lunch.
Costing firm a fortune, Trains and planes £320, hotel £75 a night then food/drink expenses and away from home allowance takes it to around the £600 mark, and theres 4 of us going. 2 Boro and 2 from Sheffield.
Would have been cheaper for someone to come over to UK for the week.
Downside there is no match on over there Monday or Tuesday, fancied a game at a different type of stadium.

My firm opened a "wonderful" new European training centre in Budapest no more training in uk all of Europe to go to Bupapest, that was untill a dozen lads got mugged god knows how many more ripped off by taxi drivers etc even though the firm said which taxi firm to use cos they won't rip you off Shocked (they hadn't actually built it in the nicest of areas) and the "instructors" were just reading the manuals out to people in broken english
Guess what now training again in UK. nobody from UK going there although not sure about the rest of Europe but I don't care about them

I'm with you there.... Laughing

Cracking place Linz, people nice, food and drink excellent.
About 200 bars in a square mile.
Everywhere sells cakes, heaven.

Never seen so many clothes and shoe shops in a city centre.

got a shock when I passed it.
Good time though, bloke from rotherham on trip with us, tried to find an arse bleeder curry for 3 days. Locals were getting a bit worried listening to us on about it.
deffo reccomend it for a long weekend especially if there is a agame on.
Linz is on cheapo Ryan Air link. Only 11/2 flight. Easy train ride to Vienna, Salzburg or over the border to Czech Republic.

not Amstedam style. Big cream cakes and tortes.

Though some young lesi ladies in the Chelsea bar were deffo smoking something dodgy. Provided us 30 mins of entertainment. Openly kissing and fondling in the smoking room, one of the blokes with us reckoned they were just practicisng waiting for some lads to turn up. Smile
