Hi hoolahoop, thanks for the welcome, Yes remember that game at the Keepmoat well, Jamie Coppinger ripped us to shreads, great bunch of lads and mutual respect shown by both sets of fans after the game. We had a fantastic party and enjoyed the occasion, loved our chant "We going to win 5 : 6"

Regarding Sarfend, we are not doing very well after a bad season we were relegated to League 2, survived 3 winding up orders by the Inland Revenue had to pay around 2.5m to them, not paying players wages, had to release all our players from last season, lost our manager Steve Tilson (now at Lincoln). Two weeks to the start of this season we had no manager, and only two sign pros on the books. Paul Sturrock (Ex Plymouth, Sheffield Weds, Southampton, Dundee, Swindon manager) joined the club and brought in loads of his old players and loanees, so we could start this season.

We are still in financial trouble, with our ground sold to Sansburys for a new super store, but if I am honest, I am just glad I still have my club to support.

By the way can we hang on to Waide Fairhurst that we have had on load from you? or could we buy him cheap? Or swap some Sainsburys Nectar Points for him?

Really sorry to hear what has happened to you since that fantastic night.
I hope you dig yourself out of your current hole and get back where you deserve to be.........you deserve it; a finer set of fans I have yet to see.

Since we have had that game with you , we have had the likes of Leeds, Wolves, W.Brom, Barnsley et al at the KMS and none of them could hold a candle to your lot (Even with twice the numbers). On that basis alone you the lads and lasses at Sarfend deserve to keep your club and have the respect for all time from our fans.

Sorry but you can't have Waide ...........he's a local lad with great potential in the game but thanks for looking after him for us.
