The roads round here are terrible as they will be anywhere...i work in Chesterfield so didn't even attempt it today, will have another look in the morning but its not looking good...

Its people who go out who don't need to that gets me...gonna have to walk into Thorne in a bit to get something in from the shops..bugger all in the local convienience store...which makes it not very convienient..

The sun is out in Thorne that really spells trouble tomorrow if the melt water combines with more snow and sub-zero temperatures..........real danger.
Some of the ice under the foot of snow is up to an inch or so thick at present.

Had it this morning LL, I cleared a foot of snow around our garage at about 8:00 and by 9:30 there was another inch or so out there...........you can keep your snow!
We've had our allowance , it wouldn't be right to be too greedy would it.

As long as they are paying you LL, they have sent out a notice at our place that we won't be paid irrespective of whether they have taken the decision to close.

Surely that ain't right if they have deceided to close, I think I might be asking one or two questions on that

Well i will get Paid but they will probably put out a notice saying either take an holiday which i haven't got any left or work the time back, as long as they expect the same of the office staff i will be happy, not looking good for tommorow though..

No it doesn't seem morally right as they are unable to keep their side of the contract i.e. be OPEN! I can of course take holiday days off to make up for the loss of a day's wage ............still WRONG imo
