There was something to be said for not having your loft insulated, at least the snow melted from house roofs....

YES ......... remember them days, water tank in loft, burst pipes, just had a thought, ouch it hurt, now that we can get floor tiles that are heated, how about a similar thing for roof tiles.

I'm, taking peoples advice and have left the heating on low all night...its on its lowest setting just dread the Gas Bill...

Minimum setting should be fine, we have done that and the room temp is a constant 15C, quite comfy, temperature control is on the boiler and the rads are half open. Refused to have a thermostat control, they always seem to be in the wrong place.

were the same our control is on the boiler but have to admit having it on its lowest setting constantly does seem to keep the house comfortable, will give it a go this cold snap and see what the bill is like...its nice waking up to a warm house instead o waiting all morning for it to stop been freezing...

You can do your own costings over a week to see the effect
