We usually learn from games like yesterdays and feel very confident that the lads will pull together and put right everything that went wrong in yesterdays game...i will go for a 2-0 win...and hopefully that will set us up nice for the busy Christmas period ...

Re: Rovers V Boro
Snowing in Sheffield all day today but not much on way back up road home tonight.
Should be a good game and atmosphere. About 1700 tickets sold with 600 on sale at Donny for stragglers.
Boro will be playing similar tactics to last week, all marking up and playing on break.

Probably all over the place but they are professionals and will want to put a good show on for him if they are trying to influence his decision to stay...

Just put on the "other side" I had a chat with someone I know within the club/kms prior to the game, and it was a case that the ref was going to start the game, and see how the pitch held up.
It was a close call to it being abandoned and watching the refs actions checking the s/s goal and asking there keeper I reckon it was pretty close to being abandoned, especially when you consider the pitch is hard under normal circumstances

yeah says on the Boro site that he came out at halftime to decide if to carry on play or abandon the match...well pleased he allowed play to carry on although i'm surprised he did bet the pitch was rock solid...

he did come out and have a good look, lets face it that pitch is supposed to be pretty hard at the best of times

Re: Rovers V Boro
Fuck the pitch it was the same for both teams
its like when people go on about Fergie time so the other team dont get the chance to win then they have the same time as united to win the game don't they
