Ipswich away...
More then ever we need to get 3 points from saturdays game...they have a new manager and will be wanting to impress but i reckon we will be wanting to put right the errors of the last two games..0-2 win to rovers, no excuses this time..

What disarray, we lost to a very good Reading side, we were beat on the day that happens, last night we were beaten by a prem team on there home ground...i don't think it is time to batten down the hatches just yet...

I would normally agree, but to lose 0-3 to a team a few places higher up the football ladder, then 5-0 to a team who essentially are 15 places higher up the ladder, does not bode well. 0-1 and maybe 2-0 i could take a little heart from, but not the score as was.

Re: Ipswich away...
Let's see what happens in these next 2 games eh, 4 weeks ago they were both eminently winnable as was the Reading one, Yorkie I do hope your optimism is well placed.
I know that you are a 'glass half full' character but the manner in which we have lost both these games doesn't fill me with much optimism.
We have lost our way with the beautiful footy that we used to play too and now seem to kick and rush rather than spending time building up an attack and going for the jugular once we have the opportunity.
Time and especially the next 2 games will tell whether we are going to resolve our issues.

What i would do is go into every game expecting to lose it, then any point earned is a positive result and can come home happy...

? Do you mean wrong you old drunkard. If so then we have a midfield and defence whose defensive capabilities can be likened to a chocolate fireguard.

Were probably paying the price for having a small squad , am sure Sod would love to have a few more players under his belt but with the crowds we are getting and no reserve league for players to get games under there belt then its not gonna happen, it goes to show that we have key players like Gillett, Stock , Woods Dumbaya out and we are struggling, sounds like yesterday was more down to the midfield then the defence....luckily for us there are plenty of other teams in the Championship that are having a very similar season to ourselves, the one saving grace is we have 3 games in hand of quite a few teams we just need to make sure that we get something from them starting on tuesday night against Barnsley...

Re: Ipswich away...
True no major problems yesterday with all the draws there were, we need to brush ourselves down and play like a team.
No more 'finger pointing', arguing etc............just get on with OUR game.
