Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

Rotherham United v Stockport County Saturday
Meeting of League two's most out of form clubs ATM, with us winning just one point out of the last twelve available, & County just as bad a record, the only difference is that we're 4th & the hatters are bottom.
We drew 3-3 at Edgeley Park just a few short weeks ago when for the majority of the match we were pants, but managed a point( & nearly won it) after being 3-1 down with six minutes left.
Ronnies son Ian Thomas-Moore has joined from Tranmere on an 18 month contract & should go straight into the side, perhaps at the expense of woefully out of form Adam Le Fondre.
Prediction;
We MUST Improve......3-1 Millers!!

Please please win...the Chessies who i work with are making me sick with there gloating...do south yorkshire proud and hopefully they will lose on saturday... Very Happy

Thats better. A decent result AND performance against a spirited Stockport side who looked useful going forward & caused our defence a few problems but christ, they were awful in defence. Ryan Taylor & MarcusMarshall had their best games for ages & at last a goal for ALF, created for him by ITM, who had a steady debut.
