Suprised Southgate went tbh.
Difficult switch and i hate to say it but i think you will struggle without Gareth.

I hope im wrong but i see this as a bad move.

Can't believe they sacked Southgoat when they did. Why not sack him after relegation? They were 1 point (i think) off the top of the table....baffling

Dale , we will both be proved to be right ..........bad decision, Boro' have virtually chucked promotion away . Stupid decision, disruptive and far from necessary.

Went from "not the best" to pretty bad yesterday, another defeat, this time at Crystal Palace.

Of course, in this league where anyone can beat anyone on their day, I don't think there's any need for panic yet. Strachan is a solid coach, and will surely guide an excellent Boro squad into the playoffs at least.

Time will tell Dan but I would disagree, with their current form they certainly don't look like 'Play-off' candidates for me.

I think we're actually on the same page Hoola, they certainly have not looked like a side challenging for the top spots, but I do think they have the squad to do so. Time will tell as you say, whether or not Strachan is the man to make the difference.
