Two questions:
What did he say superspy?
and
Who is JS?

Re: SOD on rovers player
he didn't say anything like "might have to let go".... he was simply talking about things that COULD happen in the summer, and he used billy as an example because he would clearly be our most expensive/sought after player. he was saying that with regards to strengthening the team, IF a player, ie billy was to be sold, then that would change the entire complexion of what goes on in the summer, therefore he can't give concrete answers to what will happen regarding transfers because things change so fast.

he also never said a thing about trimming the wage bill, he said that contract renewals this season had upped the wage bill (which we already knew), meaning that budgets were tight, but he never said anything about selling players to trim it back down.

I've just listened and I totally agree - in fact I felt he was pressured into mentioning Billy at all and only did so to pre-empt what was coming
Notice no-one has mentioned his interesting uptake on todays football boots or the fact we prepare for every game as if its Man Utd
