This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

Not quite right Dave, Club put him on his 12 months notice earlier( as per his contract terms ), so he effectivly sacked. End result same though, Barnsley need a new manager.

Bought my season ticket thinking Robins would be in charge to build on last season, theres defo summut going on behind the scenes at Oakwell i am not a happy chap with this latest news!!

Crap info coming out of the club and shit for Robins! Barnsley always treat the fans like crap in these circumstances! Evil or Very Mad

Where does this leave us? I didn't really like his tactics anyways, maybe now we might get some better football, but can we attract a decent manager? I just don't know.. Shocked

The reason Robins left is enough to make managers stay away from us! It just paints it out in big bold letters on a wall "THIS CLUB HAS NO MONEY" which we do, enough for a manager to possibly do well anyways, but this that has happened makes it look like we don't.. Evil or Very Mad

I suppose if his days at Barnsley are numbered he might as well give it a go but look at the players and managers that club have ruined...its cursed...
