Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Well if what they said was true when speaking to them on a matchday they sold all over the country ..but if this news is true i would doub't that...they have not been going very long ..seemed to take a hell of alot of money on a matchday, maybe that income stream kept em going and once the season ended they could not make ends meet...

2 new brewers round here seem to be doing cushty, nice to hear after tetleys has been fucked off

was in york other day n they were selling their ales there

No not linked with the club but they were turning it into a Rovers bar with match dvds shown and shirts etc hanging around the place, they even brewed a beer with a Rovers theme...was really popular with home and away fans..

Seems we were all a little premature in thinking the toad had gone under...according to the VSC it is still going but they had to make a few redundancies...sad for those concerned but good news for those that are left...
