Let's not fall out daggers i take exception being called a L**DS fan i would not support that shite if my life depended on it believe when i say that i mean it. And leave the pug alone now got a couple of dints on it now because kids round here thought it would be a good idea to have a stone fight with each other

Re: Making my self at home
nip the head off bit of instant gasket round it make sure you clean any white sludgey stuff from round the oil filler and flog it quick.
Many years ago I had a vauxhall viva.
a piston ring broke on the way up to Donny, got towed to my Mum and Dads, next door neighbour ( a errrm mechanic of sorts ) managed to get the old piston out, it was welded to the bore, sandpapered the inside of the bore, shoved a piston out of a scrap engine into it, said take it easy, make sure you've got a gallon of cheap oil in the back, as it'll use a fair bit but it'll get you back down to London....... then trade it in as quick as you can.
It did and I did
