Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Moving quickly on we have Tranmere at home in the Carling cup, they had a good win over the league 2 champions yesterday.. Laughing ..but reckon we will get a win to help boost confidence in the camp, doub't that Billy would have played anyway so will give Chris Brown and Giles Barnes a crack at it and see how they do...looks like its gonna be a poor crowd possibly less then 2000 so the atmosphere is gonna be crap...i will go for a 2-0 win...don't want another accrington .. Smile

That just about sums it up.....cracking game though really enjoyed it....should do the confidence no end of good...just hope mason isn't too serious, they didn't look too concerned on the touchline..

They put things like that on as a precaution though until they can get them checked out, bit like putting neck braces on accident victims...better safe then sorry..i hope..

Doesn't sound as devastated as Billy did

Great game (apart from Mason getting injured) Haven't seen us play a competitive match like that for a long time

Really enjoyed the game tonight,Brown,Mason and Bennett all getting there first goals for us,shame about Masons injury,the ankle ligaments bit doesn't sound good. Evil or Very Mad

That's about the thick of it Pete, that just reflects on just how well we are playing at the moment. It's a long long season and these players will come back to 'refresh' the squad one by one. Smile
