Spurr embracing new signings...
Doncaster Rovers defender Tommy Spurr says the players have embraced the new signings into the club.
Doncaster Rovers are working with football agent, Willie McKay, in bringing high profile international footballers into the club on a short-term deal.
They have already signed experienced Premier League and internationals, Pascal Chimbonda, Herita Ilunga, Chris Kirkland and El Hadji Diouf an Spurr says the rest of the squad have welcomed the new signings.
Speaking in the Sheffield Star, Spurr said, "I think the players have embraced the new signings. They have welcomed them and not thought negative things.
"They are here to help us and as long as the team benefits from them signing then that can only be a good thing for the club."
Spurr is in his first season with the club after signing in the summer from Sheffield Wednesday.
The defender started the first nine games of the season before suffering a groin injury in the defeat at Reading in September.
The 24 year old is expected to be out until the New Year as he continues his recovery from the injury.
