Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

THANK YOU for visiting THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE and we hope to see you posting here in the future.

Richard Naylor, who left Doncaster Rovers earlier this month at the expiry of his contract, has signed a contract with Rotherham United that will keep him at the club until the end of the season.
The 34 year old defender has trained with the club this week and goes into their squad for this afternoon's home game against Swindon Town.
He told Sky Sports after the deal had been completed: "I am really pleased to be here, I have trained a couple of days this week and met the lads and they are a good bunch. It looks positive, there is a big future ahead for this club and hopefully I can be part of it. I had other options but they were short-term deals and I wanted to go somewhere where I could spend some time, and hopefully grow with the club."

Sensible man I liked him if I'm honest. Old fashioned defender, didn't try owt fancy. Good signing for them and I hope he does well

I didn't think he was bad at all to be honest. I think he's slow as can be, and he cannot pass for toffee, but other than that I thought he was alright. Hope he does well with Rotherscum, but not sure about this big future they have ahead of them Wink
