Ok, so you are in the syndicate that has just won the euro millions, you are sharing the pot of 45 mill (lucky buggers) the only thing is, one of your group pulled out at the very last moment so has lost out..
what would you do?
Personally i know i would have to share mine and i would hope that my companions would feel the same.. if this poor sod has always been in it but dropped out just once, then i think i wouldn't be able to do anything else..
If I hasd just been given wealth beyond my wildest dreams, then there is no way i would want to do any thing else but.
I am very curious to know tho what you all would do...

I would want to include and share with the person too.
After all it's almost 6.5 million each for the seven in the syndicate..........
Bet they take a day off after celebrating!!!

I think it would depend on the reason they had dropped out, if it was for genuine reasons then maybe i would be sympathetic, i don't think it would be fair to ask everyone to split the winnings equally so they would have got the same amount but maybe give him or her an amount to make them happy, if however they had dropped out becauce they were regular bad payers or were just tight then i would say tough look, we have syndicates at work am in far too many personally but there are people who moan and are a pain in the backside to get money of, in there case i would say tough, its only fair on those that pay up week in week out.And i can tell you now if a group of people had won that amount of money and this predicament arose there would be a majority who would not give the person involved a bean, i'm afraid money changes people, sad but true and not for the right reasons.

I would be in two minds as for me it would completely depend on why the person wasn't in this time round. If they had a genuine reason then fair enough share the money equally or if that can't be sorted give them some that would be enough for them to be secure and happy. However if the person just can't be bothered to pay because they are to lazy or think no-one minds then tough luck leave em out. They don't deserve others to share the win imo.

Great Minds think alike Terrier, i'm afraid i have been involved in these things for as long as i can remember and know only too well how difficult it can be to get money of people, and like we say unless it is for very genuine reasons then i would say tough luck.

Yeah lol! Great minds, that's not me. I have never really done them at work but I would expect people can be a real pain to get money out of so if they don't wanna pay then it's tough lol!

If my work won the lottery on the syndicate, then I'd be the poor bugger who missed out 'cos I pulled out of ours years ago. So I'd definitely be hoping that one of my millionaire colleagues would be sympathetic to my situation

Yeah you would hope so but like it has been said before money makes people different so you just don't know.

I f he genuinely didn't have the cash that week I'd chuck him a tenner so he could enter next weeks draw
Tbh if genuine I think morally they should, or at least give him a good % I would imagine the rest of the syndicate would have a pretty good idea whether he's genuine.

The rest of the syndicate will know him well enough to judge. Unless he was missing it pretty regularly, and his reason was genuine, then there really shouldn't be any question that he should get his share.

Give them 20% of it but only if they had a decent reason.
