you may have hit the nail on the head there ,JR would have known about this for quite some time ,
so lets hope measures have been put in place as in other investors .if there isnt no one else, all this halfing
the playing budget will see big changes to the playing squad Billy included

VICE chairman Dick Watson - and three other board members - have resigned from their positions at the club with immediate effect.


Watson has been advised to step down on health grounds, according to a statement on Rovers’ official website.

His son Andrew and daughter Sarah Kell have also resigned.

Mega-rich Terry Bramall, who owns Bramall Construction, has also quit his role after handing in his resignation.

Between them, major shareholders Bramall and Watson own approximately two thirds of the club.

In recent times Bramall has become more detached from Doncaster Rovers, both in terms of his involvement and investment.

He was notably out of the country when Sean O’Driscoll was sacked in September - a decision Dick Watson had a big say in.

It is the departure of vice chairman Watson, announced by John Ryan this afternoon, which has come as a major surprise - even to people inside the club.

What i don't understand is 'if' Dick has resigned due to medical advise why has his son also resigned?

A small minority has drove some of the board members away but not Dick left on health grounds happened last week he got back from Holiday and was greeted with 4 resignations

The trouble with JR is that he takes even helpful ideas to improve the running of the club as criticism let alone dissent to decisions.
It's always the fans at fault..............

But its NOT JR who has taken things to heart and resigned is it. What he is saying is that certain Voiciferous people ( i guess 1 being whoever almost came to blows with McKay ) have caused the other board members to question their position.
Maybe a lot of criticism from certain quarters regarding decision to Axe Sod, employ DS and bring in WM has been the catalist.
